Epitaph dated Teşrin-i Sani 1331/November-December 1915 of the pharmacist, doctor Ahmed Nüzhet Bey, son of wood merchant İbrahim Efendi and son-in-law of Hacı Emin Bey.

SANATSAL FORM HAKKINDA

19.yüzyıl mezar tipolojisinde en sık karşılaştığımız bu tür, dikdörtgen veya kare formlu, doğrudan toprakla temas halinde olan blok mermerlerin yana yana getirilmesiyle oluşmaktadır. Lahitin Baş şahidesiyalnızca mevcuttur. Batı cephesine bakan ön yüzünde 9 satırlık, Celî Sülüs ile yazılmış mermer kitabesi bulunmaktadır.

ABOUT THE ARTISTIC FORM

This type, which we encounter most frequently in the 19th century tomb typology, is formed by bringing together rectangular or square shaped massive marbles that are in direct contact with the soil. Only the headstone of the sarcophagus exists. There is a nine-line marble epitaph written in Jali Thuluth on the front side of the headstone facing the west.
